Brazilian wind energy consultancy Inova Energy has teamed up with Natural Power, a consultancy which offers wind management services on 64 sites in the UK and Ireland and has worked on almost 20% of the UK's installed wind capacity. The partners will develop asset management services in Brazil, where Inova provides consultancy services at 94 sites. The joint venture will offer Natural Power's wind farm design and optimisation software, operational analysis software and other services.

Innova Energy MD Marcos Miranda anticipates a "challenging phase" in the Brazilian wind power market with "increasing contracted capacity and decreasing prices" - which opens up opportunities for Inova to offer the sorts of services Natural Power can provide.
